Apple iPhone 14 Plus review

Apple iPhone 14 Plus review

In 2022, Apple will sell four iPhones: the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This year, there will not be an iPhone 14 mini. The small device that could fit in your pocket has been replaced with a bigger one. This means that the standard iPhone models are now the same size as the iPhone Pro models. So, what’s the standard plus-size iPhone like? Well, it’s big and not as cute as the iPhone mini, but it has many good things that make it a great choice. Here’s the full review.

Even though the iPhone 14 Plus looks the same as the iPhone 13 series, the weight of this phone is a nice change. For a phone with a 6.7-inch screen, the iPhone 14 Plus is surprisingly light. It only weighs 7.16 ounces, much less than the 8.47 ounces of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Even though you lose one rear camera, I like the ease of use of the iPhone 14 Plus, given how much space it has. Even though the iPhone 14 Plus and the Pro Max are almost the exact sizes, I felt like I was carrying less weight in my pocket.

The bad news is that Apple keeps the iPhone 14 Plus’s refresh rate at 60Hz, even though the Galaxy S22 Plus and other Android phones have 120Hz panels. Even a 90Hz screen would make scrolling and playing games smoother. But the ProMotion display, like Dynamic Island, is only on the iPhone 14 Pro. When I saw the trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the gold in Angela Basset’s dress and hair stood out against her dark skin. As I zoomed in on the Photos app, the water droplets on a pink impatiens flower mesmerized me.

Even though the iPhone 14 Plus’s primary camera has the exact 12MP resolution as the iPhone 13, it has a bigger sensor with 1.9-micrometer pixels and a faster f/1.7 aperture. Because of this, you should be able to get better shots in low light and faster action shots. There is also a 12MP ultrawide camera that is meant to take pictures that show 4x more of the scene and work 2x better in low light. And the 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front has autofocus, and a faster f/1.9 aperture than Apple’s front cameras had before. When you add everything up, you have one of the best camera phones, except that you can’t zoom.

The A15 Bionic processor in the iPhone 14 Plus is the same as in the iPhone 13 Pro series from last year. This means the CPU power is the same, but the graphics power is better than on the standard iPhone 13. And the extra power was great when I was playing Mortal Kombat. I liked how detailed the game was. When I threw a fireball through an opponent to “kill” him, his heart hung in the hole I made.
